Angelo Alessandro

Angelo Alessandro first appears in the Painesville, Ohio, area in 1920.   He lived in Painesville from about 1918 to 1925.

Angelo Alessandro, son of Battista Alessandro, was born on March 19, 1893, at Montalbano Elicona, Sicily.  He married sometime before 1925.

Angelo first immigrated to the United States about 1905.  He lived in Buffalo, New York, from 1905 to at least 1911.  He was living in Fairview, Pennsylvania, in 1917.  Angelo made at least three additional trips from Sicily to the United States (in 1912, 1924, and 1925).  

Angelo Alessandro established residence in Painesville, Ohio, about 1918.  He was employed as laborer for the Diamond Alkali Company according to the 1920 Federal Census.

On June 7, 1920, Angelo became a Citizen of the United States.  He resided at 122 Railroad Street, Painesville, Lake County, Ohio.
