1920 Census

The Fourteenth United States Census, conducted by the Census Bureau one month from January 5, 1920, determined the resident population of the United States to be 106,021,537, an increase of 15.0 percent over the 92,228,496 persons enumerated during the 1910 Census.

The State of Ohio had a population of 5,759,394, an increase of 20.8%, over the 4,767,121 persons enumerated during the 1910 Census.  Ohio had the fourth largest state population of the United States.

Lake County, Ohio, had a population of 28,667, an increase of 25% over the 1910 Census.
