Antonio Catalano, son of Giovanni Catalano and Elisabetta Levantino, was born on April 13, 1896, at Palermo, Sicily. He married Maria Giuseppa Profeta, daughter of Angelo Profeta and Agata Lombardo, on November 11, 1922, at Lake County, Ohio.
Antonio Catalano immigrated to the United States on November 2, 1913, at age 17, travelling to Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio. He was joining his uncle. Antonio and his wife, Maria Giuseppa Profeta, were divorced about 1928.
The children of Antonio Catalano and Maria Giuseppa Profeta were as follows:
1. John S. Catalano was born on September 21, 1923, at Ohio. John died on January 7, 2000, at age 76.
2. Angelo V. Catalano was born on February 12, 1925, at Painesville, Lake County, Ohio. He married Clara A. Marotta on June 21, 1952. Angelo died on May 19, 2003, at Cleveland Clinic Hospital, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio, at age 78. His body was interred at Riverside Cemetery at Painesville, Lake County, Ohio.
3. Elizabeth A. Catalano was born on March 14, 1926, at Ohio. Elizabeth died on August 15, 1994, at age 68.
