Carlo Venditti

Carlo Venditti first appears at Painesville, Lake County, Ohio, between July, 1927 to May, 1930. Carlo’s family moved to Painesville from West Virginia.  In America Carlo Venditti was known Carlo Vendetti.

Carlo Venditti, son of Filippo Venditti and Filomena Cipriano, was born on July 7, 1921, at Frosolone, Isernia Province, Molise, Italy.

Carlo Venditti immigrated to the United States on March 2, 1928, at age 2. Carlo was travelling with his mother and sister to join the family’s father, Filippo Venditti in West Virginia.  They arrived in the United States at the Port of New York City aboard the ship SS Roma.

Carlo Venditti was enumerated for the 1930 Census of the United States, on May 6, 1930, living at 256 Sanford Street, Painesville City – Ward Four, Lake County, Ohio, as a son of Phillip Venditti. 

Carlo Venditti was enumerated for the 1940 Census of the United States, on April 4, 1940, living at Fairmont, Marion County, West Virginia, as a daughter of the head of household.
