Domenico Fraraccio

Domenico Fraraccio first appears at Painesville, Lake County, Ohio, in April, 1900.

Domenico Fraraccio was born about 1872, at Frosolone, Italy.  He immigrated to the United States in 1895, travelling to Fairmont, West Virginia.  Domenico returned to Italy in 1898.

Domenico Fraraccio is cited on a passenger ship manifest re-entering to the United States on April 5, 1900, travelling to Painesville, Lake County, Ohio.  Domenico was joining his brother, Francesco Fraraccio in Painesville.

Domenico Fraraccio is not cited in any other record. He and his brother probably worked for the Storrs & Harrison Nursery in Painesville Township.  In the early 1900’s many Frosolonesi immigrants lived in eastern Painesville Township and were employed by the Strorrs and Harrison Company.  Domenico was living in Painesville at the time of the 1900 Federal Census. He may have been enumerated with an Americanized name.
