Domenico Giuffre

Domenico Giuffre first appears at Painesville, Lake County, Ohio, between 1907 and 1910.  In America, Domenico Giuffre was known Dominic Jeffries.

Domenico Giuffre was born about 1877 at Italy.  He probably was born in or around Palermo, Sicily.  Domenico Giuffre immigrated to the United States in 1907.

Dominico Jeffries was enumerated for the 1910 Census of the United States, on April 22, 1910, living at Painesville Village, Ohio, as a boarder of Andrew Leruia.  In October 1913, Domenico was living in Painesville when his brother-in-law, Simone Mansueto immigrated to the United States and settled in Painesville.

Domenico Giuffe may have been related to Painesville Italians Ignazio Mansueto, Michele Mansueto, and/or Vito Mansueto.  He may have also been related to Painesville Italians Domenico Giuffre and his brother Salvatore Giuffre.
