Francesco Giallombardo was born on Wednesday, April 10, 1861, at Montemaggiore Belsito, Sicily.  Francesco was married to Giovanna Militello.

Francesco Giallombardo first immigrated to the United States about 1889 (this passenger ship has not been found).  He re-entered the United States on September 3, 1897, at age 36 (this passenger ship has not been found).

Francesco Giallombardo was probably living in Painesville at the time of the 1900 Federal Census.  He was either not enumerated, or was enumerated under a different name.

Francisco Giallombardo became a citizen of the United States in 1903 at Lake County, Ohio.  He returned to Sicily in 1905.  Francesco Giallombardo is cited on a passenger ship manifest re-entering to the United States on May 7, 1909, at age 48, travelling to Chicago, Cook County, Illinois. According to the passenger ship manifest, he was previously living in Painesville, Ohio, from 1889 until 1905.  He was escorting his two children to the United States.  His wife remained in Sicily.
