Giuseppe Colavecchio

Giuseppe Colavecchio first appears at Painesville, Lake County, Ohio, in 1898.

Giuseppe Colavecchio, son of Giovanni Colavecchio and Luigia Fiani, was born on Monday, October 10, 1870, at Frosolone, Isernia Province, Molise, Italy.   He was baptized the same day.  Giuseppe married Incoronata DiBiase, daughter of Domenicantonio DiBiase and Domenica Paolucci, on September 13, 1894, at Frosolone, Italy.

Giuseppe Colavecchio first immigrated to the United States in 1898.  He returned to Italy in 1912.  Giuseppe Colavecchio is cited on a passenger ship manifest re-entering to the United States on March 25, 1916, at age 45, travelling to Painesville, Lake County, Ohio.  He was joining a friend, Domenico Palangio, in Painesville.  The ship manifest indicated Giuseppe was previously in Painesville from 1898 to 1912.
