Giuseppe Colavecchio

Giuseppe Colavecchio first appears in Painesville, Lake County, Ohio, in 1916.  In America, Giuseppe Colavecchio was known as Joseph Colavecchio.

Giuseppe Colavecchio, son of Nicola Colavecchio and Vittoria Carderelli, was born in September, 1874, at Frosolone, Italy.

Giuseppe Colavecchio immigrated to the United States in 1916.  He was enumerated for the 1920 Census of the United States, on January 21, 1920, living at Bacon Road, Painesville Township, Lake County, Ohio.  He was employed by the Storrs and Harrison Nursery.  He probably left Painesville by 1930.

Giuseppe’s brother, Felicantonio Colavecchio, lived in Painesville from 1904 until about 1910.  His sister, Maria Carmina Colavecchio, lived in Painesville from 1907 until sometime in the 1910’s.
