Maria Venditti

Domenica Venditti first appears at Painesville, Lake County, Ohio, between July, 1927 to May, 1930. Domenica’s family moved to Painesville from West Virginia.  In America Domenica Venditti was known Mary Vendetti.

Domenica Venditti, daughter of Filippo Venditti and Filomena Cipriano, was born on July 7, 1921, at Frosolone, Isernia Province, Molise, Italy.

Domenica Venditti immigrated to the United States on March 2, 1928, at age 6. Domenica was travelling with her mother and brother to join the family’s father, Filippo Venditti in West Virginia.  They arrived in the United States at the Port of New York City aboard the ship SS Roma.

Mary Venditti was enumerated for the 1930 Census of the United States, on May 6, 1930, living at 256 Sanford Street, Painesville City – Ward Four, Lake County, Ohio, as a daughter of Phillip Venditti. 

Domenica Venditti was enumerated for the 1940 Census of the United States, on April 4, 1940, living at Fairmont, Marion County, West Virginia, as a daughter of the head of household.
