Virginia Evangelista

Virginia Evangelista first appears at Painesville, Lake County, Ohio, in 1938.  When Virginia immigrated to the United States she joined her husband, Felicantonio Pizzi, and son, Attilio Pizzi, in Painesville.  In America, Virginia Evangelista was known by her married name, Virginia Pizzi.

Virginia Evangelista, daughter of Ludvico Evangelista and Rosaria Mucciarone, was born on Saturday, October 12, 1889, at Sant’Angelo in Grotte, Italy.  Virginia married Felicantonio Pizzi, son of Domenico Pizzi.  She died on March 8, 1944 at 511 North State Street, Painesville, Lake County, Ohio, at age 54, of breast cancer.  Her body was interred at Saint Mary Cemetery at Painesville Township, Lake County, Ohio.

Virginia Evangelista immigrated to the United States on July 12, 1938, at age 48, travelling to Painesville, Ohio.  She was joining her husband and son in America.

The known children of Virginia Evangelista and Felicantonio Pizzi were:

1.     Attillo Pizzi was born on January 27, 1917, at Santa Maria Giacoma, Italy.  Attillo married Antonetta Iagallo, daughter of Giovanni Iagallo and Immocalata Bertone, in 1936, at Santa Maria Giacoma, Italy.  Attillo died on October 5, 2011, at Altercare of Mentor, Mentor, Lake County, Ohio, at age 94.  His body was interred at St. Mary Cemetery at Painesville.
