Antonio Fiordi

Antonio Fiordi first appears at Painesville, Lake County, Ohio, in 1896.  When Antonio immigrated to the United States, Painesville, Ohio, was his final destination.

Antonio Fiordi, son of Emilio Fiordi and Domenica Zampini, was born on Friday, June 13, 1873, at Frosolone, Italy.  Antonio married Crucifissa Silvestri, daughter of Michele Silvestri and Maria Silvestri, on August 6, 1910, at Cuyahoga County, Ohio.  Crucifissa was born in Rionero Sanittico, Italy.  Mr. Fiordi was previously married when he married Crucifissa Silvestri.  Antonio died on September 26, 1952, at his home, 1583 Tenth Street, Cuyahoga Falls, Summit County, Ohio, at age 79.  His body was interred at Oakwood Cemetery at Cuyahoga Falls, Summit County, Ohio.

Antonio Fiordi immigrated to the United States on October 27, 1896, at age 23, travelling to Painesville, Ohio.  Antonio Fiordi was enumerated for the 1900 Census of the United States, on June 19, 1900, living at Mayfield Street, Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, Ohio.  He lived at Akron, Ohio, in 1910.

While there is no proof that Antonio ever lived in Painesville, Ohio. His destination when he immigrated to the United States was Painesville, Ohio, and a number of Frosolonesi were already living in Painesville.

Antonio’s wife, Crucifissa, preceded him in death in 1950.
