He married Francesca Dolce, daughter of Filippo Dolce and Rosalina Nasca, in 1916. Ignazio died on June 8, 1964, at 336 Owego Street, Painesville, Lake County, Ohio, at age 71, of a heart attack. His body was interred at Riverside Cemetery at Painesville, Lake County, Ohio.
Ignazio Chiappone immigrated to the United States on January 16, 1912, at age 19, travelling to Painesville, Ohio, joining his uncle, Calogero Pace. Ignazio’s father had previously lived in Painesville, but was visiting Sicily at the time. He returned to Painesville in June, 1912. Ignazio Chiappone became a citizen of the United States on September 25, 1923. He resided at 114 Owego Street, Ohio, when he was naturalized. Ignazio’s mother and brothers, Francesco and Carmello, immigrated to Painesville in 1913.
Mr. Chiappone was a blacksmith for the City of Painesville from 1933 until his retirement in 1958.

4. Charles R. Chiappone was born on July 12, 1924, at Painesville, Lake County, Ohio. Charles died on June 12, 2006, at Palms of Pasadena Hospital, Pasadena, Pinellas County, Florida, at age 81. His body was interred at Riverside Cemetery at Painesville, Lake County, Ohio.
5. Joseph A. Chiappone was born in 1926, at Ohio. Joseph died in 1995. His body was interred at Mentor Cemetery at Mentor, Lake County, Ohio.
