Michelangelo DiCesare

Michelangelo DiCesare first appears at Painesville, Lake County, Ohio, in 1903.  When he immigrated to the United States, Painesville, Ohio, was his destination.

Michelangelo DiCesare, son of Nicola Francesco DiCesare and Francesca Padula, was born on May 3, 1867, at Frosolone, Isernia Province, Molise, Italy.  He was baptized on May 3, 1867 at Frosolone, Italy.  Michelangelo married Angela Colaciello, daughter of Giuseppe Colaciello and Angela Filomena DiMaria, on August 9, 1894, at Frosolone, Italy.  He was widowed by the death of his wife, Angela Colaciello, about 1905 at Frosolone, Italy.  Michelangelo married second, Maria Angela Tartaglia, daughter of Nicola Angelo Tartaglia and Maria Rosa D’Abate, on June 13, 1907, at Frosolone, Isernia Province, Molise, Italy.

Michelangelo DiCesare immigrated to the United States on July 17, 1903, at age 36.  He was travelling to Painesville, Lake County, Ohio.  Michelangelo was joining Nicandro Cardegna in Ohio.  He arrived in the United States at the Port of New York City aboard the ship SS Manilla.  He returned to Italy about 1906.

Michelangelo DiCesare is cited on a passenger ship manifest re-entering the United States on September 17, 1913, at age 46.  He was travelling to Greensburg, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania.  Michelangelo arrived in the United States at the Port of New York City aboard the ship SS Moltke.

Michelangelo probably worked for the Storrs and Harrison Nursery Company while he lived in Painesville.

The two known children of Michelangelo DiCesare and Angela Colaciello were as follows:

1.   Maria Francesca DiCesare was born on October 9, 1896, at Frosolone, Isernia Province, Molise, Italy.  Maria Francesca DiCesare died on August 20, 1897, at Frosolone, Isernia Province, Molise, Italy.

2.   Addolarata DiCesare was born on March 26, 1899, at Frosolone, Isernia Province, Molise, Italy.
