Gaetano DiCarlo, son of Carmine DiCarlo, was born on January 20, 1898, at Castel di Sangro, Italy. He married Teresa Mary D’Abate, daughter of Domenicantonio D’Abate and Antonia DiIorio, in 1932 at Monongalia County, West Virginia. Gaetano died in October, 1976, at age 78. Gaetano DiCarlo immigrated to the United States on July 8, 1922, at age 24, travelling to Morgantown, West Virginia. He was joining his brother, Nicola DiCarlo, in Morgantown. Gaetano DiCarlo was enumerated for the 1940 Census of the United States living at Morgantown, West Virginia. Guy and Teresa D’Abate moved to Florida in the 1960’s.
Guy, and his wife, Teresa, owned D’Abate’s Delicatessen in Painesville.

3. Edward DiCarlo was born on December 25, 1936, at Morgantown, Monongalia County, West Virginia. Edward died on August 29, 2007, at Lake Med Nursing Home, Painesville, Lake County, Ohio, at age 70.
