Gioacchino Inchiostro

Gioacchino Inchiostro first appears in the Painesville, Ohio, area in 1915.   The Inchiostro family moved to Painesville in 1913 or 1914 from Pennsylvania.  In America, Gioacchino Inchiostro was known as Jack Inchiostro.

Gioacchino Inchiostro, son of Gaetano Inchiostro and Concetta Barbera, was born on March 29, 1902, at Palermo, Sicily.  Gioacchino died on January 1, 1991, at Michigan at age 88.

Gioacchino Inchiostro, age 11, immigrated to the United States on November 17, 1913, travelling to McKeesport, Pennsylvania, joining his father, Gaetano Inchiostro.  He married about 1928, in Ohio (to Julia – surname not known).  Gioacchino, his wife Julia, and daughter, Caroline, moved to Detroit, Wayne County, Michigan in 1929.  His brother, Salvatore, lived with him in the 1940 Federal Census.

1.      Caroline Inchiostro was born about 1928 at Ohio.

2.      Pauline Inchiostro was born about 1930 at Michigan.

3.      Thomas Inchiostro was born about 1932 at Michigan.
