Domenicantonio DiIorio

Domenicantonio DiIorio first appears in Painesville, Lake County, Ohio in 1904.  When Domenicantonio immigrated to the United States, Painesville, Ohio, was his destination.  In America, Domenicantonio DiIorio was known as Dommick Ross.

Domenicantonio DiIorio, son of Felice DiIorio and Teodora Palangio, was born in May, 1879, at Frosolone, Isernia Province, Molise, Italy.  Domenicantonio died on August 28, 1907, at Painesville, Lake County, Ohio, at age 28, as the result of an accident.  He was struck by a freight train.  His body was interred at Saint Mary Cemetery at Painesville Township, Lake County, Ohio.

Domenicantonio DiIorio, age 24, immigrated to the United States on March 18, 1904.  He was travelling to Painesville, Lake County, Ohio, to join his cousin, Bartolomeo Colavecchio.  Bartolomeo’s wife’s mother, Maria Nicola Palangio, was Domenicantonio’s mother’s sister.  In March, 1905, Domenicantonio’s brother-in-law, Giovanni DiIorio joined him in Painesville.  He returned to Italy in 1905. Domenicantonio DiIorio is shown as re-entering the United States on May 31, 1906.  He was traveling to Painesville, Lake County, Ohio, joining his cousin Michele DiIorio.

When Domenicantonio died, he left a wife and family in Italy.
