Felicantonio Colavecchio

Felicantonio Colavecchio first appears in the Painesville, Ohio, area in 1904.

Felicantonio Colavecchio, son of Nicola Colavecchio and Vittoria Carderelli, was born in February, 1885, at Frosolone, Italy.

Felicantonio Colavecchio immigrated to the United States on March 18, 1904, at age 19, travelling to Painesville, Ohio.  He was joining his brother-in-law, Filippo Notte.  Felicantonio’s sister, Maria Carmina Colavecchio, migrated to Painesville in 1907.  His brother, Giuseppe Colavechhio, migrated to Painesville in 1916.  Felicantonio probably left Painesville before 1910.

Mr. Colavecchio registered for draft for World War One in 1917.  He was living in Schenectady, New York.  He was enumerated for the 1930 Federal Census living in Schenectady.  He was living with his sister, Maria Carmina Colavecchio, and her husband, Emiddio Giusti.
