Francesco Fraraccio

Francesco Fraraccio first appears at Painesville, Lake County, Ohio, sometime before April, 1900.   He was cited on the passenger ship manifest of his brother, Domenico Fraraccio, when Domenico joined him in Painesville.  He probably was born in Frosolone, Italy.

Francesco Fraraccio is not cited in any other record.  He and his brother probably worked for the Storrs & Harrison Nursery in Painesville Township.  In the early 1900’s many Frosolonesi immigrants lived in eastern Painesville Township and were employed by the Strorrs and Harrison Company.  Francesco was living in Painesville at the time of the 1900 Federal Census. He may have been enumerated with an Americanized name.
