Giuseppe DiCristofaro

Giuseppe DiCristofaro first appears in the Painesville, Lake County, Ohio, in 1904.

Giuseppe DiCristofaro, son of Michele DiCristofaro and Maria Lucia Palangio, was born in March 18, 1867, at Frosolone, Isernia Province, Molise, Italy.  He married Maria Incoronata Fazioli in 1893 at Frosolone, Italy.

Giuseppe DiCristofaro, age 28, first immigrated to the United States on May 2, 1895.  His destination was probably Troy, New York.  Giuseppe is shown as re-entering the United States on March 18, 1904.  He was traveling to Painesville, Ohio.  Giuseppe was joining his cousin, Cristofaro DiCristofaro, in Painesville.  According to his 1904 ship manifest Giuseppe had lived in Troy, New York, from 1895 to 1903.

Giuseppe DiCristofaro was a double cousin to Painesville Italian Cristofaro DiCristofaro and his siblings. Giuseppe’s father was the brother of Cristofaro’s father. And Giuseppe’s mother was a sister of Cristofaro’s mother.
