Felicantonio Colavecchio

Felicantonio Colavecchio, son of Filippo Colavecchio and Maria Carmina Pollutro, was born on May 21, 1890, at Frosolone, Italy.  Felicantonio died in February, 1972, at Waterbury, New Haven County, Connecticut, at age 81.

Felicantonio Colavecchio immigrated to the United States on May 23, 1911, at age 21, travelling to Painesville, Lake County, Ohio.  He was joining his father, Filippo Colavecchio, in Painesville.  Filippo had immigrated to Painesville in 1909 with another son, Nicola Colavecchio.

Felicantonio registered for the military draft for World War One on June 5, 1917, living at Waterbury, Connecticut. He had served three years in the Italian infantry and he had a wife, mother, and father living in Italy.

Mr. Colavecchio moved to Waterbury, Connecticut, between 1911 and 1917.
